“Prof. Leila EL-WAKIL Charles Bonnet Dr. Fawzia ASHMAWI
L’ACES a été créée en 2006 par d’éminentes personnalités suisses et égyptiennes. L’égyptologue de renommée mondiale, le professeur Charles BONNET, la professeure Leila EL-WAKIL (historienne de l’art et architecte, professeure et spécialiste de Hassan Fathy) et le Dr Fawzia ASHMAWI (professeure de littérature arabe moderne à l’Université de Genève). Ils souhaitaient partager leur connaissance des nombreuses facettes égyptiennes avec un large public vivant en Suisse.

Les nombreuses conférences sont présentées par des spécialistes de renommée internationale et couvrent un large spectre de la vie culturelle égyptienne.

Notre association réunit des Suisses et des Egyptiens, amateurs éclairés d’histoire et d’art, passionnés par la civilisation égyptienne, qui souhaitent partager leur enthousiasme pour cette culture.

Depuis 13 ans, l’ACES, seule ou associée aux institutions culturelles les plus prestigieuses de Genève (MAH=Musée d’Art et d’Histoire, ING =Institut National Genevois), le Conservatoire de Genève, la Société de Lecture, la Maison de l’Architecture, la Maison de l’Histoire …) a pu offrir des événements de grande qualité et occupe aujourd’hui une position centrale dans le panorama culturel de la ville.

Pour ne citer que quelques partenaires et conférenciers, dont beaucoup siègent au comité: Philippe Collombert (directeur du département d’égyptologie de l’Université de Genève), Nicolas Ducimetière (directeur adjoint du Bodmeriana), Ismaïl Seragledin (ex- directeur de la bibliothèque d’Alexandrie), Jean-Yves Empereur (historien, archéologue, fondateur du Centre d’études alexandrines), Nicolas Grimal (égyptologue, Collège de France), Charles Bonnet (membre de l’Institut), Jean-Claude Gandur (collectionneur d’art et mécène suisse), Jacques Chamay (ex-conservateur du MAH), Jacques Berchtold (directeur de la Bodmeriana), Jean-Yves Marin (directeur MAH), le professeur Charles Méla (ancien directeur de la Bodmeriana et président du monastère Sainte-Catherine).

Qu’il s’agisse d’expositions, de colloques ou de voyages culturels, (Paris, Londres, Venise, Turin, Andalousie, etc.) l’ACES s’efforce d’offrir à ses membres un large éventail d’événements de grande qualité.

الجمعية الثقافية المصرية السويسرية

أنشئت الجمعية الثقافية المصرية السويسرية عام 2006  بفضل جهود بعض الشخصيات المصرية والسويسرية  المرموقة وهم عالم المصريات المعروف عالميا البروفسور شارل بونيه  والبروفيسورة ليلي الوكيل ، المهندسة المعمارية وأستاذه تاريخ الفن المتخصصة في هندسة حسن فتحي والدكتورة فوزية العشماوي أستاذة الأدب العربي بجامعة جنيف. وكان هدفهم هو إقتسام خبرتهم في مختلف أوجه  المعلومات المصرية مع جمهور كبير من سكان سويسرا .

وأعدت الجمعية محاضرات ألقاها خبراء متخصصون مشهورين دوليا تناولت محاور واسعة من الحياة الثقافية المصرية . وتجمع الجمعية أعضاء من المصريين والسويسريين ، مهتمين بالتاريخ والفنون وعاشقين للحضارة المصرية ومتحمسين للمشاركة في هذه الثقافة المصرية.

ولقد أضطلعت الجمعية على مدار 13 عاما بأنشطة مختلقة أعدتها بمفردها او بالتعاون مع عدة هيئات ثقافية مرموقة في جنيف  : متحف الفن والتاريخ والمعهد الوطني لجنيف ، ومعهد الموسيقى بجنيف ، وجمعية القراءة السويسرية ،  ودارالهندسة المعمارية ، ودار التاريخ وهيئات ثقافية أخرى .ونتج عن هذا التعاون المثمر أنشطة ثقافية ذات درجة عالية من الجودة مما جعل الجمعية تتبوأ مكانة محورية في المشهد الثقافي لمدينة جنيف .

ونذكر هنا لمحة من هذه الإنشطة التي قام بها  عدة خبراء مرموقين والبعض منهم أعضاء في اللجنة التفيذية للجمعية : البروفسور فيليب كولومبير ( رئيس قسم المصريات بجامعة جنيف) ، ونيقولا ديسيمتيار( مدير مساعد لهيئة بودميريانا ) ، وإسماعيل سراج الدين ( المدير السابق لمكتبة الإسكندرية )، وجان إيف امبيرير (المؤرخ التاريخي وخبير الحفائر ومؤسس مركز دراسات الإسكندرية ) و نيقولا جريمال (عالم المصريات في كوليج دي فرانس )،  وشارل بونيه ( عضو المعهد الوطني بجنيف ) وجان كلود غندور ( جامع تحف وخبير سويسري) وجاك شاماي (محافظ سابق لمتحف الفن والحضارة بجنيف) ، وجاك برشتولد ( مدير جمعية بودميريانا)، وجان ايف ماران ( مدير متحف الفن والحضارة بجنيف) ، والبروفسور شارل ميلا ( رئيس سابق لجمعية بودميريانا ورئيس دير سانت كاترين ).

وتحرص الجمعية على توفير مظلة عريضة من الأحداث الثقافية ذات مستوي عالي من الجودة سواء من خلال المعارض او الندوات او الرحلات الثقافية التي شملت باريس  ولندن وفينسيا وتورينو والأندلس.

ACES was set up in 2006 by eminent Swiss and Egyptian personalities.

World renowned Egyptologist, Prof.Charles BONNET, Prof. Leila EL-WAKIL (art historian and architect, Professor and specialist of Hassan Fathy) and Dr Fawzia ASHMAWI. (Prof. of Arabic literature at the Geneva University). They wanted to share their knowledge of the many Egyptian facets with a large audience living in Switzerland.

The numerous conferences are presented by world specialists and cover all aspects of the Egyptian cultural life.

Our association brings together Swiss and Egyptians, enlightened amateurs of history and art, passionate about Egyptian civilization, who wish to share their enthusiasm for this culture.

For the past 13 years, ACES, alone, or together with the most prestigious cultural institutions in Geneva (MAH = History and Art Museum, the ING = National Geneva Institute, the Geneva Conservatory, the Reading Society, the House of Architecture, the House of History … ) was able to offer high quality events and occupies today a central position in the cultural panorama of the City.
